Today, I would like to share with you this fantastic poem by an unknown author, aptly titled “The Victor”.
If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you like to win but think you can’t,
It’s almost a cinch you won’t.
If you think you’ll lose, you’ve lost.
For in this world you will surely find
Success begins with a person’s will,
It’s all in the state of mind.
Think Big and your deeds will grow,
Think small and you’ll fall behind.
Think that you can and you will,
It’s all in the state of mind.
If you think you’re outclassed, you are.
You have to think big to rise.
You’ve got to be sure of yourself.
Before you can win the prize.
Life’s battles don’t always go,
To the strongest woman or man,
But sooner or later the person who wins,
Is the person who thinks he can.
My Thoughts:
One takeaway from this poem is to win in life, we must think like a winner. It does not matter whether you are highly educated, rich, poor or anything else as long as you think you CAN win. What About You?
